On 2025-09-28, TerraTheWizard was brought to attention by Lafcadio around the time of posts including post #5869823 and post #5869802. Uploaded mere minutes apart by a third-party uploader, Lafcadio considered the posts notable for quickly going from a strong resemblance to TwoKinds to then including a number of features common in AI-traced art. He compiled a private set of notes, comparing them to another suspect at the time who had previously made a Fur Affinity upload with a description admitting to AI usage, sharing social media posts and AI models related to TwoKinds, and comparing present works against past works.

A few minute afterwards, Lafcadio delved deeper into the artist's gallery, finding a series of pre-AI posts with confidently-drawn bodies but more amateurish furry faces, ranging from April 2022 to April 2024. As the April 2022 posts preceded the release of Stable Diffusion by several months, it was extremely likely that these posts were not traced from AI image materials. The investigation continued for a bit as Lafcadio looked into TwoKinds-style image generations from certain AI-only sites to determine the habits and quirks of these specialized models.

A May 19 2023 post was also pulled up that depicted several furry characters in the poses and clothing of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" characters. Of these, several characters appeared to be explicitly traced from existing art from the anime, such as the various promotional graphics on https://www.ten-sura.com/character.

Between the April 2022 materials where AI assistance was impossible, and the May 19 2023 post where the traced source images were obvious, there was strong evidence that the artist had made a habit of tracing human-made materials.

The investigation was paused there as Lafcadio was asked to look into a different artist whose career started in 2023. Several details of their style and technique made it unlikely that anything untoward was happening, so no further investigation was taken into this unrelated artist, and the following day, Lafcadio received an appeal from a second unrelated artist. He quickly moved on to other tasks, and the investigation into TerraTheWizard was left hanging for several months.

Come 2025-02-22, Lafcadio responded to flags on post #6177632 and post #6164046, recording the notes in a staff channel. Of these, several more posts were brought to attention by the flagger, painting a picture of a sudden change in the artist's history circa summer 2024. This also fell to the wayside as a few more hanging flags were documented concerning other artists.

Finally, this was brought back to attention by a 2026-03-21 #private-help ticket highlighting a few more posts. With the willingness to trace photos and anime proven already, and further review showing more and more traits consistent with traces from AI images, it grew increasingly difficult to justify repeatedly putting off the investigation.

Several suspicious-looking posts were selected for deletion based on an estimated timeframe for AI adoption, and a much smaller collection of posts was recorded to compare against, in the event that the artist appealed to prove the legitimacy of their art.

The appeal would not come. The artist contacted NotMeNotYou to seek DNP status, and made a social media post declaring an extended hiatus.
