Character: cody (eipril)

Cody is a male ferret introduced in the 2021 animated short film "Ace" by Eipril.

In the short, he's the manager of a women's volleyball team who keeps track of the scoring count. Despite being close friends with Rouen and Elisabeth, Cody tells the viewer that his personal life is lonely and very shy.
Cody reveals that he has a secret crush on Yue (one of the female volleyball players) and admires her not only because of her attractiveness and being generally sweet. But he finds Yue's skills as a volleyball player admirable and keeps him motivated about life.

After Yue accidentally knocks him out, he wakes up in a recovery room where he witnesses' Yue crying over hurting him. Thinking that she's sleeping, Cody confesses that he loves her. Yue responds to his love by also confessing that she loved him back with tears in her eyes.

After taking a nap together, Yue and Cody decide to have romantic sex together in private and become lovers.

In February 2026, Eipril revealed that Valentine's Day is Yue and Cody's favorite holiday due to being a day of love.
