Zalgo is a creepypasta series, involving the distortion of text and mutation of characters (usually of a comic strip), supposedly by the eldritch abomination Zalgo. "Zalgo" is said to be the hive-mind of chaos; a being with seven mouths and four arms, bearing a dead star and a candle "whose light is shadow". Its hands are stained with "the blood of Ahm-Degar". it is served by a legion of creatures "forged from the tears of the Sleepless Dead; clad in armor carved from the suffering of mothers." Zalgo's influence of an image is heralded by the utterance of "He Comes!", and black pus leaking from a characters eyes. The next panels have deresolved text and body horror. It is said to wait "behind the thin glass wall" within the souls of men that seperates man from monster. A tuber called "the Root of T'char" can shatter the Wall of whomever eats it, allowing Zalgo to take them over upon utterance of the phrase "Thy meal was filled with the Root of T'char."
