Potential AI Art Warning
An AI art investigation by e621's Bladerunners has previously concluded that some or all works from this artist are likely AI-assisted/generated. Please be aware of this when posting works from this artist.

Staff members involved: Lafcadio, spe
Tsunoart was first seen when post #5625079 popped up during normal janitorial processing. Lafcadio noted several uncomfortable similarities, including those related to poses and coloring, along with some perceived inconsistencies when comparing id:5005861,4986413,4986410 status:any to the rest of their gallery.
After a second opinion, the posts were deleted and an appeal was taken; a recording showing a traditional art process for an Isabelle in similar style was provided by the artist, and the case was considered closed for satisfying a reasonable standard of proof.

Staff members involved: Lafcadio, Swedistan Doge, Manitka
A DMail was sent to Lafcadio, who immediately forwarded it to a private janitorial discussion channel to keep the other staff informed. From there it was picked up by Swedistan Doge and Manitka, with his own involvement being limited until much later. The latter two janitors came to similar conclusions observing Tsunoart's work, and further investigation produced:
- several character LoRAs usable to generate images unfailingly similar to tsunoart's own work, created well before tsunoart's own drawings of the same characters; it would be impossible for these creators to use tsunoart's portfolio as training data.
- several images from fraudulent artists producing similar results.
- online stores which offered AI-generated products including a sticker of an AI-generated Ochaco Uraraka, and generic "commissions" listings showing off anime-styled characters with AI-generated errors in the eyes, ears, hands, and elsewhere.
Lafcadio additionally noted:
- in spite of having a previous accusation against them, and having evidence of the sale of AI-generated commissions, tsunoart did not seem particularly worried about capturing their artistic process for any of the new posts in their galleries, but only minor sketches made solely for the purpose of appealing.
- an old piece of evidence Lafcadio gathered, a post from Tsunoart depicting Isabelle in the style of "chimera" Falin from "Delicious in Dungeon", was deleted from their Twitter account. While it was intentionally disclosed by tsunoart as a trace of human art and would not normally matter for AI-related accusations, no other such deletions occurred, including several older posts which did show a significant deviation from their current work.
An appeal from tsunoart started on 2025-10-04, providing another sketch, showing a quick Isabelle headshot.
At no point was the existence of such a store or its use of AI-generated materials disclosed by tsunoart. It was concluded that tsunoart could perform to a certain degree even in conditions that make it unlikely to trace directly from an electronic display, but a couple of legitimate sketches could not justify the existence of the broader gallery when it was obvious that the use of AI-generated materials *was* being concealed.
tsunoart was notified of the rejected appeal on 2025-10-05, citing the online listings with the AI-generated image materials and the known character LoRAs. They deleted their Etsy store listing and personal account without providing a written response, and the matter was treated as closed.
