The Desert Eagle (often abbreviated as deagle) is a powerful pistol with a big caliber, manufactured by IMI (Israeli military industries). Due to its large caliber and heavy recoil, the Desert Eagle operates through a gas blowback system that throws the bolt back to eject the shell and load a new one, much like an automatic rifle. The Desert Eagle exists today more as a target gun and a show piece than an actual law enforcement weapon.
