I have to poke in that Battlefield 2142 did it too. Looking closer to one of the rocket launchers in that game, you see the resemblence of a stereo. If that wasn't convincing enough, looking closer even reveals a play button :P

if there is any trigger it´s hidden under the hand grabbing the gun, sure a bit uncomfortable grabbing the mag as a handle but hey it´s just a sci-fi gun.

The trigger's probably under the forearm, behind the magazine. It may be held like a shotgun
