Whats amazing about this is that we've come far enough to play games in real time that look better than those renders from back in the day that were blowing our minds. Progress is wonderful.

I just wish progress had more room for these two.

Basically, Rareware/ Microsoft is Banjo and Kazooie is the franchise.

super late comment, but if I'm remembering correctly 3D renders like this were seen in the official prima game guide for banjo kazooie and/or tooie

I don't have a non-tattered version of the game guide (tore them up when i was younger) but I remember seeing several of these renders in the scraps I have left of the guides. They probably also used them in general promotional material too.
