my guess is food converts to energy hence its healing property or move restoring property (like PP restoration). Kinda like digimon probably.

Anyway, I'm sure there's some sort of form of intimacy! On the ask blog Skuntank will make the occasional implications that heavy petting exists in some way. Mostly because I think it's funny. I have no idea what this would look like in action, but aura is my "it's magic" card, so maybe there's some sort of way to magic yourself some temporary bits. As for intestinal functions, I like to imagine they're perfect machines who have no need for such things B) I do somewhat regret making this aspect of the magic system seem so clinical, but since OBT will be SFW the whole way through it's not something I'm too concerned with. (I enjoy reading headcanons, though!)
