Would they even see her? Isn't every "infection" their own personal experience? She's not a communal entity AFAIK. She's your personal companion, so every person who's infected gets their own private "copy" wholly to themselves and their sightings are individualized to them.

Pretty sure you're right, but I also wouldn't say that malo is unable to combine her instances so as to appear to two individuals in near proximity like depicted. Sticking to just one person per instance probably gets boring in the... _{twenty-three minus seven...} sixteen years or so she's reasonably presumed to have existed.

Given how she seems to get more fluent in communication (though non-verbally) with the user as time goes on, I'd say each "copy" is independent from all the others, otherwise she wouldn't need to relearn each time. Also given that the SCP Foundation treats each device infected with the app as its own separate instance of the SCP and assigns them their own subnumber, tells me it's not one entity.

IMO one would only see "their" copy of Malo at any time. If two people that were infected were together I think they'd only see their own Malos showing up in photos and such, since she's always supposed to have been their own personal companion.
