Here at Hamster Boy Industries ^tm we pride ourselves on making only the best of target seeking sentient bullets. We made it after months of research on soul splitting technology, which was originally for a completely different project. In the end, we resized we didn't even need the souls after all. Turns out cats work just fine.

So now we have a couple hundred lost spirits meandering about when one of my top researchers came up with an idea. "What if we put the souls into bullets?" Every one nodded without hesitation or questioning the consequences. I'm so proud of them. *sniff, sniff* *wipes teardrop away*

And that is how we got the weapon we see today.
