Memberi'm sure the artist himself uploaded the background seperate alongside this image.
i feel as if the characters and the background aren't from the same style, for example, the background looks like something out of one of those superbly well done anime cartoons and i feel like the characters are like a concept art in a manual of a handheld-console videogame.
It looks good to me in both ways though.
