With the last NA market RX-8s hitting 7-8 years old now, they are sadly all pretty much at, or past, their EED (or estimated explosion date).
Without the power and desirability of the last RX-7's twin turbo, I find many who have hit their EED, and considering the cost and limited supply of local running used Renesis engines, are trading them in for pennies on the dollar, or simply scrapping them for parts.
