So this is obviously a picture of an actual cockatiel that was airbushed over, a cursory search found the original. The artistry in that I leave up to the viewer to decide.

Nope, it wasn't airbrushed over (' v' ), it was painted from scratch. I have the PSD with all layers for proof as well, and yes I did use that picture as the reference.

As further evidence, careful comparison reveals that some features have shifted position, which would be unlikely for simply brushing over the image. Consider, for instance, that the painted beak is slightly longer than the photo beak.

i got really confused and almost considered reporting this for like a half second because of how real this looks. this is amazing!

haters gunna hate weather ut real or not bloody enjoy it if it is been done as I have seen fine lined drawn pictures that look near real.. still better then looking at cgi crap. :P
