Wikipedia also redirects "wacky tobacky" to cannabis, and in the past there were tens of thousands of redirects involving slang terms related to breasts.

wasnt that breast incident only cuz of one wikipedia admin (at least i think it was an admin) that just went on a full-on rampage for no reason?

why so much resistance? the anime is insanely popular. the acronym is well known. we already have aliases like flcl -> fooly_cooly
and dbz -> dragon_ball_z

To quote Clawstripe from the other thread that OP made:

People have been banned for not providing reasons to their tag requests. Even if you think it's a very obvious no-brainer of a reason, provide it anyway. That way, others can check your logic. Heck, it might not be an obvious no-brainer to anyone else.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, no reason, no up-vote. If I don't know what I'm supposed to be voting for, I'm not supporting it.

If OP had actually followed procedure, I'm sure there'd be little, if any, resistance to the alias.

Not a fan of three-letter aliases like this, personally. It's too easy to become ambiguous with the names of characters, artists, or other media properties.

True. And typing "juj" already gives us Jujutsu kaisen as a suggestion.

if we have dbz, tadc, tawog, mlp and other abbreviations aliased to the full titles respectively, then i don't know why it's diagreed for this mainstream anime to have one too + post tagged with it are directed referred towards anime

Many of those are significantly longer, and in general feel to me far less ambiguous and less likely to conflict or get mixed up with any other abbreviation.
