Just as a heads-up for next time, you can append BURs to preexisting threads by putting the thread's ID (that number in the url) in that "Forum topic" box near the bottom of your new BUR. For example, your first merfolk BUR's ID number is 62706, which you'd then would have put in the box.

I would prefer latex mermaid to be "latex merfolk". Also mermaid tail sounds redundant.

not sure we need tags for every single individual species/breed of animal, The class or order(official or informal) is sufficient(similar to how fictional species groupings are treated such as Pokemon).

'mermaid' tags should be disambiguated or invalidated, while most are fish/fish_tail others are eel-like, shark-like, or ocptopus-like , the human upper bodies of mermaids is covered by the humanoid_merfolk tag included in this BUR set.
