If incest is a lore tag should inbreeding be too?
I don't see why not. All tags related to incest should be lore tags.
Is the _(lore) suffix needed ?
The "implications" of inbreeding are becoming less and less severe with the advent of true genetic editing. Mainly the reason people find it disgusting is due to the genetic damage it causes in the offspring.
But if that damage can be repaired at a base level to the degree that the very dna is changed meaning even that offspring's offspring won't have any kind of issues then I ask:
What really are the implications of inbreeding?
And also, if you dislike incest and inbreeding then you are practicing eugenics. Eugenics being the act of preserving favorable/desirable genetics through selective breeding. And gene damage isn't a generally a desirable genetics trait you would want passed on to future generations....

People dislike inbreeding because you're having sex with your family members, something lesser-order animals have specific adaptations towards avoiding, your offspring coming out as Sloth from the Goonies being the icing on the cake, young sir Oedipus Rex. Historically (and in some places today), inbreeding was also used in humans to "keep the bloodline pure", so the "eugenics" argument runs both ways.
What did your entire spiel have to do with the subject matter of how to handle tagging incest and inbreeding in the artwork uploaded to this website? Are you trying to suggest anyone who doesn't want to see inbreeding is a proponent of eugenics?

So I discussed the implications of inbreeding.... Is simple as that and was meant with humor.
"Stop taking the internet so seriously." Now while I do have several great arguments about everything you went on about, my goal is not to Jack this thread it was to make a joke.

Do we want to keep inbreeding? If so it's probably best to move it to _(lore), and the most we can imply it to is incest_(lore), though even that might be slightly debatable

Not all inbreeding should be tagged as impregnation. Many of those are depicted after impregnation.

would a character being artificially inseminated with the genetic material of a relative be incest?
what about after_sex situations? should a solo post showing a pregnancy "taking" some time after the actual intercourse be counted as incest?
incest_(lore) is generally treated as a pairing tag so, I'm not sure about taging situations like this as such.
