@kamimatsu: I do use windows, but it's not that, it's absolutely the mouse, if I plug my laptop mouse into my main rig, it works just fine.

Vise Versa, if I plug the problem mouse into my Linux laptop, the problem shows up there too.

@NotMeNotYou: That's what I figured it was, but I can't figure out how to open my mouse, and none of the videos show my specific mouse since I have a weird variant.

I've even scraped off my Teflon tape and found literally zero screws.

@zenitix: I have a similar problem where it clicks on its own. I use a touchpad and sort of unlearned the mouse. Have to disable tapping and use the buttons. Are you using Windows? My issue started with Windows 7. I had no issue with any version of Linux

@zenitix: The button in your mouse is faulty. Usually it's either dirt in the button's spring, or the spring has been slightly bent due to use. If you have small pincers and a steady hand you can easily fix either. Check Youtube for instructions.

@zenitix: Some computers have single clicking as an alternative to double clicking. Is hovering counting as a single click? If yes, that's what happened, and you just need to change the option.

I would open it up and try and clean inside it, but my mouse (razer naga hex V1) doesn't have any way to open it, not even screws, I've even checked under the pads.
