not all that surprising, honestly. AI gen video is, at best, the visual equivalent to those obviously fake Tumblr stories or Reddit r/aita stories. and flash-in-the-pan meme videos that whose target are audience is AI bros and essentially infants, are unlikely to drum up a sustainable paying userbase...

especially when other models exist both before and after that are better suited for AI video's main purpose: creating more and more AI generated advertisements for scams and scam products.
