Species: moa (bird)

The moa is a recently extinct bird type from new_zealand with multiple species and subspecies, all of which were flightless. The largest was the moa nunui, or in english the the South Island giant moa. They were taller than humans, with adult females (who, as common in new zealand birds, were larger) being up to 200cm tall at the back, and a neck allowing them to reach foliage 3.6 metres off the ground, with an estimated upper limit of weight at >250kg. they were the largest bird humans know of.
