A newsboy cap is a rounded cap with a small stiff brim in front, similar to a flat_cap. The main difference is that is made of 8 panels, connected by a button at the center. Due to the design, these hats are often larger and fuller than their sleek, triangular flat_cap counterparts. This hat is also known as a baker boy cap, 8-panel cap, Gatsby cap, and Apple cap.
Some art-styles may forgo the panel details, making this type of hat mainly identifiable by the central button.
