Potential AI Art Warning
An AI art investigation by e621's Bladerunners has previously concluded that some or all works from this artist are likely AI-assisted/generated. Please be aware of this when posting works from this artist.

Staff members involved: Swedistan Doge, Lafcadio, Manitka, IsFaputa, spe
As part of an accusation, Swedistan Doge received files related to posts against this artist, immediately remarking upon their suspicious nature via various stylistic markers. Upon further review, Lafcadio discovered the existence of detailed AI prompts, including:

Immediately recognizing the prompt for what it was, Lafcadio processed multiple deletions, and gave directions to start looking into the artist's history to try and determine a reasonable timeline of AI usage. Much of this artist's decade-long art history was impossible to use AI in. spe noted some post descriptions written by the artist discussing life changes after a year-long hiatus, and brought up some older posts with obvious signs of paintovers.
The artist conducted an appeal on February 10th. Lafcadio led the appeal, keeping the existence of these openly suspicious files as a trump card in order to establish the artist's willingness to speak honestly.
AlaiAorax was first asked to show off the layers for https://www.furaffinity.net/view/63216326. They declined, specifying that no layers existed and this work was created on a single layer. They provided a pair of sketches in connection with this post. As it was already established that files with prompts existed, it was hard to admit the sketches' existence as proof of innocence, though it was noted that the sketches were previously shared to the artist's Twitter on 2025-11-25.
Lafcadio prompted the artist to share layers for https://x.com/Alaiaorax1/status/1525998376537530368 as a way to potentially bait them into making a mistake: the tweet's May 2022 date already made AI assistance functionally impossible in this case. The artist testified that the commissioner specifically requested multiple layers, but did not prove the existence of a layered Photoshop Document. Lafcadio noted some differences in coloring details in different parts of the image, asking for an explanation, theorizing the more detailed components may have been from a photo collage. The artist confirmed this theory. From then on, they continued posting a few private commissions that did not appear in their public galleries.
Lafcadio gave the following ultimatum.
Okay, here's the deal.
We have certain pieces of undeniable evidence that several new pieces in your gallery are made with AI assistance. And similarly, there is undeniable evidence that the older pieces are perfectly fine. That means we have a duty to figure out where, exactly, things change.
So, now, be perfectly honest: can you, with proof, demonstrated when you started using AI assistance? Your pre-AI work is perfectly fine for distribution on e621, and we have some reasonable guesses as to when this happened.
If there are any further attempts at deception then I will immediately end the appeal process and publish our findings so that other e621 users can understand what went on here.
The artist testified that they used 3D materials, textures, photos and other such references in their work, along with colorpicking from AI-generated images. Throughout this phase of the appeal, the artist was not forthcoming with when they started using AI assistance, claiming they didn't generate "anything beautiful", but used it for abstract textures and references.
The artist disclosed the use of Topaz Gigapixel AI for upscaling, though the evidence still pointed to additional uses of AI assistance. They shared a new AI-generated image file, claiming to have been using it to guide color choices in their work.
As the artist's testimony continued, it was apparent they had no intent to admit to anything involving the prompts extracted from their files. Having already stated that attempts at deception would result in the end of the appeal, Lafcadio closed the appeal.
