X-Com is a turn-based strategy game. It was originally made by MicroProse under the hyphened name, X-Com, but in 2012, it was recreated by Firaxis without the hyphen: XCOM. The games are centered around an international force known as X-Com (for who the game is named), who defend the planet against alien invasions, as well as the alien army that is invading Earth.
