What a wild ride the last few days have been! After having finally met the mighty Chieftain of the Outriders, The Lands Trio joined forces with him to slay the Cobalt Serpent who ruled the seas. That battle was quite comfortably the most difficult, insane encounter they had ever faced, but in the end, they all came out the other side with their lives and an amazing story for the ages. The trio enjoyed their time at G'eelm Outpost, but alas, once their mission was complete, it was time to continue the adventure onto new places. However, they didn't leave empty-handed, for they had gained a new ally: none other than the Chieftain himself, Xander Dorwin! With the serpent being slain and the seaside town able to breathe a collective sigh of relief, he felt comfortable temporarily leaving his home behind to support the three women on their grandiose journey. His wife and daughter will miss him dearly, but they do say that absence makes the Heart grow fonder.

Now, Xander gets to travel with the trio, seeing new things and meeting new people that he may not have had the chance to otherwise. Likewise, being the eldest member of the group, and the only man, he too will learn what it's like to travel with such an...interesting and colorful group of Magical women. So far he's gotten to know Zenchi's sense of conviction and strong leadership, complemented by her blunt personality. There's Ithaca's easygoingness and heavenly, kind soul able to heal a wounded man. And of course, Roseland's analytical approach to everyday life and surprisingly apt passive-aggressive sense of humor. They all have something worthwhile to contribute to the merry band of heroes as they travel west, heading towards the Capital of Evercrest, Reiyon. What awaits them at the Royal Province? Who knows, but that is still some time away and surely with several detours along the way.

With the Angel Mountains still easily within view, the party have since left G'eelm Outpost behind and find themselves camping for the night, a regularity for most of them. Something Roseland was known for was her rock-solid sleep and awake schedule, waking up just as the sun grazed her face and sleeping after everyone else had already gone to bed. Getting an early start to the day is how she prefers to live, giving her ample time to think, write, and take part in her "morning ritual". Being a clouded leopard, she prides herself on her agility and superior ability to stay mobile. She avidly practices yoga through her series of routine stretches to stay limber. Well, to her it's routine. To the others, it looks more like body contortions. This morning, she was caught in the middle of it by her friends. Not wanting to make something awkward out of the situation, she casually notes their morning attentiveness, "Oh, up earlier than normal, hm?" With her tail high and her face down low, her body is almost upside-down. A difficult pose to strike for most, a cat makes it look easy. She makes absolutely no mention of her lack of clothing, as it simply limits her movement too much. Instead, she invites the three early birds to join her, "Care to join me in my morning stretches?" Ithaca happily accepts her leopard friend's invitation with a smile, "Oooh! I wanna join Rosie!" Zenchi meanwhile, is rather annoyed that the first thing she sees in the morning is her friend casually baring it all, "Roseland, put some damn clothes on for Gods' sake." Sure, they'd seen each other nude many times and it was no issue, it felt odd for a woman with such a stealthy profile to, well, throw it all away. Especially so given that the newest member of the group, Xander, might feel uncomfortable with it. But that wouldn't be a problem either, as he was more than willing to participate, "Right on lass! Helps keep these ol' bones fresh!" Perhaps in his age, seeing a beautiful, slender lady in the nude wasn't much of a bother anymore. Considering he has a wife back home, he already has eyes elsewhere. Not that he can't enjoy the view, of course. Not a bad way to start the day now is it?
