Topic: Tag alias: beady_eyes -> dot_eyes

The tag alias #82215 beady_eyes -> dot_eyes is pending approval.

Reason: There's no difference between the two and the latter one is more used

Dot eyes are for eyes that are just little dots. Significant amount of the posts tagged as beady eyes do not come even close to what the dot eyes tag for. Here is some examples:

i learnt from danbooru that solid_circle_eyes and solid_oval_eyes tags exist and started using them as part of my vocabulary, i wonder if these are more applicable to use instead

They're not used very often here (less than 50 post in total currently), either we need to popularize them or alias to simple eyes

i am suggesting these new tags and currently popularizing them
both dot and simple eyes have problems of ambiguity and confusion of what they mean; most of the posts tagged dot eyes have characters lacks any solid circle eyes, but tiny/constricted pupils most of the time (i.e post #6255200 and post #16900) and i thought simple eyes meant the same thing with lack of detail/irises

Do note we have dot_eyes and dot_pupils (which for its purposes would probably be better named as dot_iris, but probably after topic #60071 is concluded)

I just don't see the point of having solid_circle_eyes when dot_eyes exists.
If there's an ambiguity/confusion problem with users conflating dot_eyes with dot_pupils (which is more of a global eyes/pupils/iris conflation issue, topic #60071 as Ravine mentioned) it should be in the realm of a BUR to propose a tag rename (mass update/alias to replace dot_eyes with solid_circle_eyes).

no, as for now dot eyes should be treated as a disambiguation for both solid_dot_eyes and small_pupils respectively
