The split exists because 3 penises on the body and 3 penises in the genital area are not always the same thing with furries, I don't see why we should deny tagging that separation just because it's less common

that distinction is better satisfied with unusual_genitalia_placement. At present this distinction does not actually exist in ether tag and its very doubtful that this distinction will ever be picked up by most people even if its specified in the wikis, the terms used for these tags are just too similar/generic in their raw dictionary definition.

For the the record, the wiki's for both 2_penises and diphallism are the same yet implicated, thru it was also previously aliased with majority support topic #29573.

The wikis should be changed then, I'm very certain that's why the chain is set up as it is right now
There is a useful distinction between having two penises in the area they are meant to be and having two penises in any number of random locations on the body, even each in separate locations on the body, unusual genitalia placement does not fill that distinction because it has no count

I did not disagree with the distinction being useful, however the (number)_penises/"x"phallism tag set are not a good way for tagging this feature difference, people will just use these interchangeably.

also unusual_genitalia_placement + 2_penises.

raw dictionary definition:

diphallism = two phalluses (a real world congenital physical defect/mutation)

2_penises = two penises

hemipenes = bifurcated penis/ two halves of a penis/ two shafts that merge horizontally at the root within a slit(specific natural configuration to many real world reptile species)

penis and phallus are synonyms
