I don't think it should imply hip_grab, because there's posts where it seems like more of a waist_grab to me? (e.g. post #6109043 or post #6060040)
But at the same time, you could argue that they're either not a mating_grip or should be a hip_grab instead, and I don't think I have a strong personal opinion either way

That was my main hang-up. Not helped by the fact that the line between hip and waist is often murky, especially when you get size difference involved.
