Topic: Is there a way to get more pending posts uploaded per "batch"?

Posted under General

Ridiculous question, I know, but I only upload an artist's portfolio when I have a sudden burst of energy (I know, super efficient of me) and the fact I'm stuck with waiting until 12 posts get approved (which is perfectly fine, it takes time and admins have a life beyond e621, I know) kind of forces me to wait enough until I just lose interest again until the next burst of energy and the cycle begins anew. No, I can't exactly do this every day either.... unfortunately

Is there any way to get more posts uploaded per "batch"? Theoretically the max is 30 but you need so many approved posts for that...

No, there is no official way for you to bypass your upload limit as a normal member. You'd just have to wait until they get approved or build up your limit over time.

However, there are also special privileges called unrestricted uploads that are given out to members who have proven themselves to be good uploaders, though this is reserved for veteran members or artists who have a good track record of producing high-quality art.

Alternative choices could include you preparing all of the tagging, sourcing, etc. beforehand for multiple posts, and then posting it when your limit is freed.
A third-party application like PostyBirb even allows you to queue uploads and post them on a schedule, though this is still subject to your upload limit.

Oh hell yea! That looks like a good idea. I was already saving some tags for specific posts i was gonna upload next. Seems like I might be able to work with this a little easier than I thought

The base limit can be raised (and lowered) on a per user basis
I had mine raised to 100 simply by asking an admin back when I was dumping an entire artist's gallery onto the site, and I was still practically a nobody then
Can't hurt to ask, worst they can say is no

(Note, the best ones to ask are spe, furrypickle, and Rainbow Dash as they're the ones most involved with the public side of things.)

I have messaged spe. Thanks :)
