Guys and gals and whatever ya identify as. I've been looking over e621 for years and years and years. And two things have become all too common that....... well...... I just don't understand......... why.......

One being people that are covered with cum while the males cock is still inside them. That makes zero since.

And two...... males in heat. Does no one understand basic biology? Males don't and never will go into heat. Please don't take this as an I don't like the art or artist creating. In the years I've been on here I've only blacklisted one thing. Because, I like the art created. But these basics...... If the character is throbbing/breathing heavily/leaking an impossible amount of precum/staring at their dick/spontaneously cumming/etc., I'm happy regardless of whether the explanation of how they got in that state is logical.

heat is a fairly well known term for the "need to do a sex" state in animals, rut is very much not. so, in effect "heat" has become the catch-all for either state.

and if you want to get pedantic, there's way more biologically wrong things going on way more commonly in furry stuff. I mean, look at how knots are portrayed, like, 99% of the time.

I think it's perfectly reasonable that medically transitioning could cause a trans woman anthro to start getting heats, if the hormones she is taking is responsible of heat cycle in her species.

"Technically" a clitoris does become erect during arousal. It's just harder to notice because it's generally mostly or completely hidden in the folds of the vagina. No extra testosterone needed.

So again I would state (putting furry logic aside of course) males cannot go into heat. It's a trait of a biological female. And generally has more to do with desire to reproduce than being aroused.

'Heat'/estrous cycles are very, very similar to menstrual cycles (both are tied to ovulation and related hormones, I think the main difference is absorption vs expelling the endometrium, but don't quote me on that). Trans women on hrt often report menstrual-like symptoms (cramping, mood changes, digestive changes, all on a regular cycle), so a trans dog on hrt experiencing heat doesn't seem implausible to me, even before taking "who cares, it's hot" into consideration.

People aren't misunderstanding you, the problem is that you keep saying things that reveal you don't know what you're talking about. I don't know what you think "biological sex" is if you think it's somehow immutable and unaffected by hormones.

"Heats" and other reproductive cycles generally are governed by sex hormones, and they're trivially easy to manipulate. People had a practical understanding of this even before we had modern medicine; think of bulls being castrated to make oxen that wouldn't rut or fight each other. Nowadays we have pills and injections that can have even stronger effects without even having to do surgery.

Also, I don't think you understood what Ruppari said about testosterone affecting the clitoris. It's not a minor effect that you can't see because it's "hidden in the folds", it gets way too big for that. I don't know why you made this thread if you're going to ignore every attempt to give you new information.
