I tagged this as animal_humanoid, which states:
Characters that retain human appearance but possesses animalistic traits like the ears, tail, and sometimes paws or nose, of an animal.
But my change was reverted. To me this looks nothing like an anthro character. This is a human with animal ears and an animal nose, making it ineligible to be tagged as anthro
The animal nose and the fur on the neck make it anthro. If you look through the animal_humanoid tag you'll see 90% of them are just humans with some non-human anatomy tacked on. None of the human anatomy has been replaced by non-human anatomy in these cases. I think having paws and an animal nose would only make a character animal_humanoid if they had no other animal features whatsoever. Otherwise it'd be anthro or somewhat ambiguous.
I can see how you'd see it that way. The artist was very much trying to keep the guy very recognizable while anthrofying him. It's not easy to blend human and nonhuman features so that you can tell who the character's supposed to be.
However, personally, I think he looks suitably anthro. The nose looks very muzzle-like to me rather than the small and subtle animal noses sometimes worn by animal humanoids. I would tag this as anthro.
Nevertheless, if you'd like an official ruling, you can report the post and ask for one. Staff will poll it and decide, then an Admin can lock it on the post if necessary. It might not be the decision you'd expect or want, but at least it would be decided.

Thanks, it's not that big of a deal, was just wondering. I'll just accept the general consensus. I can see it going both ways.
