Topic: Line Between Acceptable and Unacceptable Humanoid?

Posted under General

I have been going through the deleted posts that I have in my sets and had some questions.
What defines a humanoid to be acceptable to be posted here and what doesn't? As far as I am aware, something as simple as having elf ears on a human passes the rule like a hylian or a genie like Shantae, but is there something that draws a definitive line? What about characters that are essentially human but have abnormal skin colors like Queen Tyr'ahnee or Mystique? What about characters like Charlie Morningstar who have no real defining non human characteristics shown but are not human? I'd imagine that they are fine but I have seen plenty flagged and deleted for not meeting uploading guidelines and would like to know if they truly break that rule.

The typical guideline is that a specific, non-human characteristic is required to be shown (rather than just a lack of one), and abnormal colors do not count as such. For the ones you showed there, the rightmost probably shouldn't have been approved, the third is grandfathered content, and the other two have pointed ears which counts as a non-human feature (though contentiously).
(I guess for the rightmost the fangs could kind of make it count, maybe. Didn't notice them at first)
