Topic: Enabling alias mail addresses like simplelogin

Posted under General

Hey. I like to hide my real mail address while at the same time having the ability to receive everything in one address, which is why I started using SimpleLogin's service. However I noticed whenever I tried to use it with e621 it wasn't allowed, with a pop up saying "Email address may not be used."

I would really like to know if it was possible to enable the use of these services, and if not, to know why, since its a feature I really enjoy using and would love to use more often.

I'm not staff, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I think it's probably not an option, because of the potential use for alt accounts, especially ones used for less than good reasons.

If you wish to hide your real mail to use as a anonymous but receive emails messages from your real mail you can download a browser Firefox and install a extension officially made by Firefox and create, at maximum, 5 mails address in free version. They won't discover who you are due random characters and numbers you can use this extension through this website too. But I don't think it necessary to hide your mail if you use this site casually unless you wish to break rules or evade ban. (pls don't do that :c)
