There's more to a meme than simply being a trend, there's been a fair number of music tracks that have had multiple animations made of it and they don't become taggable as memes just because some people have made fan works around it.

Can't say I notice a similarity. Seems to be any movement synced to be song beat, which would be typical of animating to a song.
